If you aren’t able to see my work in the City Art Centre itself, see my Flickr!

Hi all,
At the end of my foundation course at Leith School of Art, I won a prize to produce a painting for an exhibition at Edinburgh’s City Art Centre and the time has finally come to promote it as much as I can!
The exhibition is called 'Citizen Curator’ and is a celebration of Leith and its diverse and fascinating culture; historically and currently.
There will be paintings and other art pieces by well-known artists and lots of funky artefacts from Edinburgh’s archives and collections.
The exhibition opens on Saturday 26th October 2013 (I will be around that day so would be great to see some of you there) and it ends on the 23rd February 2014, meaning you really have no excuse NOT to visit it… unless you’re out of the country, I guess!
It’s open Monday - Sunday
and it’s free.
And art galleries usually have pretty swell cafes so if you’re not loving the arty stuff, I’m sure you’ll fancy cake.
Basically, I’d really appreciate many of you to take a trip along to the exhibition. Goodness knows when I’ll be exhibiting a painting in a gallery like the CAC again!
Also, if you’ve been to see Filth and Sunshine on Leith, you might as well experience all the Leith-ness you can, whilst you can (seems to be Leith’s year…)
The link below gives more information on the exhibition and opening times, etc.
If you do go along in the next 4 months, I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks,
Cat
